why we offer a straightforward, no-hassle refund policy to ensure your complete satisfaction.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
2.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You request a refund within 30 days of your initial purchase
- This is your first Premium subscription with SunSeed Kitchen
- Your account is in good standing with no violations of our Terms of Service
2.2 Monthly Subscriptions
- First Month: Full refund if requested within 30 days
- Subsequent Months: You may cancel anytime, but no refunds for the current
billing period
- Unused Time: No pro-rated refunds for unused portions of the month
2.3 Annual Subscriptions
- First 30 Days: Full refund of the annual fee
- After 30 Days: Pro-rated refund for unused months (minus one month
processing fee)
- Example: If you cancel after 3 months of a 12-month subscription, you'll
receive a refund for 8 months (12 - 3 - 1 = 8 months)

6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be provided if:

- You've previously received a refund and re-subscribed
- Your account was terminated for violating our Terms of Service
- You used fraudulent payment methods or provided false information
- You're requesting a refund for a gift subscription purchased by someone else
- Technical issues were caused by your device, internet connection, or third-party services
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Technical Issues
If you experience technical problems that prevent you from using our Service:

- We'll work to resolve the issue within 48 hours
- If we cannot fix the problem, we'll provide a full refund regardless of the 30-day window
7.2 Billing Errors
If you were charged incorrectly:

- This includes duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or unauthorized renewals
7.3 Medical or Financial Hardship

8. What Happens After a Refund

- Your Premium subscription is immediately canceled
- You lose access to Premium recipes and features
- Your free account remains active
- Saved favorites and preferences are retained
- You can re-subscribe at any time (subject to new purchase terms)
8.2 Re-subscription After Refund
- You may re-subscribe at any time
- The 30-day guarantee applies only to first-time purchases
- Subsequent subscriptions follow our standard cancellation policy (no refunds)
9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Important: Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or
credit card company. We're committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly.
If you file a chargeback:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
- We'll provide transaction records to your financial institution
- If the chargeback is found in our favor, your account may be permanently terminated
- We reserve the right to pursue legal action for fraudulent chargebacks
10. Gift Subscriptions
For Premium subscriptions purchased as gifts:
- The purchaser (not recipient) must request refunds
- Standard 30-day guarantee applies from date of purchase
- If the recipient has already redeemed and used the gift, refunds may not be available
- Unused gift codes can be refunded within 90 days of purchase
